The County Trial was most certainly a trial by name and by nature as regular bouts of April showers helped to provide a tough test of golf at Shirley Golf Club on Sunday.

The Menzies Welcombe Golf Club - Tuesday 10th April (Formerly known as the Spring Meeting) - This was my first event as County Memberships Scheme Manager so I wanted to make it as good an experience as possible for all the competitors. That meant lots of hard work!

The 2012 Warwickshire Schools Championships - Stonebridge GC - Tuesday 10th April - Very much as per the Boys Team is dominated by 15 and 16 year olds at present, the majority of the 'contenders' for the Schools were of that age and the eventual champion someone whose recent form had not warranted his selection for the recent 4 Counties tournament.
