- A First and a fitting end to 2013
The 2013 Warwickshire Union Annual Dinner - Friday 29th November - Copt Heath Golf Club - 2012 was hard to beat for sporting success, on a Global scale when the World came to party in London, when a miracle happened at Medinah, and for our County Teams completing a 'treble' in their Midlands Leagues. Our athletes may now have had a taste of being the third best in The World (on medals won) but Warwickshire golfers are more used to winning, so with just one team trophy being presented, the occasion was not as 'celebratory' as some past years. However, this was an Annual Dinner with a difference.
- TIDBURY GREEN BECOMES THE 49TH MEMBER OF THE WARWICKSHIRE UNION

Our Warwickshire Union President John Jewsbury went along to the club to hand over County Cards for the clubs' 250 members, to the Club Captain Nick O'Brien.

The Final of the 2013 Bainbridge Shield - Sunday 10th November - Robin Hood GC - The oldest, largest and definitely the heaviest Warwickshire Trophy takes some winning - six rounds (at the least) then a 36 hole final. Its a foursommes competition so mistakes are more of a problem - and common - and in this year's final The Warwickshire had problems, lots of them.
