  • Handsworth take the Warwickshire Cup - on the 21st extra hole

The Warwickshire Golf Club - Saturday 22nd March 2014, Handsworth's last visit to The Warwickshire and the Warwickshire Cup final ended in losing the play-off and no first win in the annual Inter-Club Scratch Winter foursommes competition. Today, when their third pair stood on the 17th fairway more than 200 yards from the green and faced a shot straight into a freshening breeze (and were two down with two to play) the title seemed destined to go to Cup Final debutantes Nuneaton.
