2007 CHAMPIONSHIPS - ENTER THE WARWICKSHIRE SCHOOLS

WARWICKSHIRE SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Tuesday 10th April 2007 - Stratford Oaks GC - Entries Close 3rd April 2007 - This is the Championship to decide the Warwickshire Schools Girls and Boys Champions for 2007. These two competitions are gross but there is also the Warwickshire Schools Nett Championship to play for, the Warwickshire Schools team Championship (qualifying for the English Schools Team Championship TO BE PLAYED AT COVENTRY HEARSALL on11th July 2007), and the Warwickshire Schools U16s (winner guaranteed a place in the English Schools U16s)..

There is more as this Championship will again be used to decide the host club and half of the team for our entry into the McPartlin Trophy which is ONLY for mid handicappers (boys over 12 and Girls over 15 handicap).

'School' does include Colleges and players who would not fulfil normal 'Junior' age rules - ie were 18 before 1st January 2007 but who are still in full-time education may compete - see CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.

The results of the 2007 Schools will be used to decide the teams and use of wild-cards for the Midlands Schools Championships (played in the Summer half-term holiday). Warwickshire won the Boys Individual Championship in 2006 (Rory Kirwan) and the Boys Team Championship

'Guests' - Juniors not still at school - can enter. These places will be limited so early entry is advised.

ENTRY FORM | CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Any player aged U18 on the day of the competition MUST return a Parental Consent form with their entry form. For the 2007 Schools we will be using the Warwickshire Union Consent Form and we will return these at the end of the Championship day (or when you leave Stratford Oaks if it is before the presentations) so that you can use it for other WU Championships
