The Best Girl was Imogen Holmes (Stoneleigh) with a 91 and in the 8 's and under, Stoneleigh again produced the winner in Kirtis Grimmett with a nine holes in 36 strokes.

Ever since Joshua first played in the Schools aged 6 (and won the Best Nett that year), he's been a player to watch and this triumph will surely be the first of many.

An excellent entry of five girls and 29 boys competed in the 9-11 age group. Numbers were down in the 8 and unders. This Championship is the pinnacle for young golfers just starting the game so if you do have (especially an 8 or younger) new junior, try to make sure they have lots of fund and playing time this year, to get them ready for 2012. Players do not need to have a handicap to enter either section.

Congratulations to Stoneleigh on another successful Young Masters and a new winner who is of the calibre as those already on and impressive roster of past champions.
