Afternoon singles saw brighter weather and brighter fortunes. Winning 3 matches and losing 3. Winners were Lisa Barton (beating England International Jo Hodge 3&1), Claire Howells (2&1) and Liz Haycock (3&2).

Charlotte Dalton and Hannah McLoughlin had their hands full against England Internationals whilst Charlotte Taylor battled against the experienced Linda Carruthers (EWGA Training Manager).
