With the weather improving and sun shining the team started the afternoon singles with Abbey Gittings facing a difficult task, eventually losing 4/3. Charlotte Dalton had a total of 5 birdies during her match. Starting with birdies on 1st and 2nd holes she then repeated back to back birdies on 13th and 14th. She was 3 under par when her match finished on 15th hole, winning 3 and 2.
Hannah Cole was in excellent form winning the first four holes with pars. She then eagled the par 5 - 5th hole followed by a birdie on 6th hole. The Buckinghamshire player birdied the par 3?s 9th & 12th holes but Hannah then rolled in a long putt for a birdie on 13th to secure the win 6 and 5.
Kath Ashley had a very tight match with some excellent match play golf, losing out on 17th hole.
Steady Lisa Barton was in control of her match winning 2/1. Liz Haycock also had a good match with the lead switching almost every hole on the back nine. She had a number of birdies and on the 4th she hit a pitching wedge 108 yards to a blind green landing 2? from the hole. She eventually lost her match on 18th hole.
The afternoon singles finished 3 apiece which meant that the match against Buckinghamshire was HALVED.
