The afternoon Singles had Liz Haycock, Charlotte Taylor one of the youngest players of all Teams at 13, Hannah Coles, Hannah Crump, Claire Howells and Charlotte Dalton.
Liz set the pace with a very steady round, having been down only once and with the three birdies in her round, won comfortably on the 14th, 4 and 3.
Charlotte Taylor, obviously from her early demeanour, was out to win. However well she battled throughout the afternoon, she eventually lost on the 18th. One point of note was that she played very well having been given some jelly beans by the Berkshire President, on the 15th!! - Dottie Beanland please note.
Hannah Coles was the next to post a win after a great round. She started with a stunning birdie on the first with the next few holes nip and tuck, with both players playing well. She had a superb approach shot to the Par 5, 7th, which she did not need to putt out for her Eagle. With great putts at the 12th and 14th, she never looked back, winning on the 16th, 4 and 2.
The third win of the day came from County stalwart Claire Howells, who finished on the difficult downhill hole 17, ending 3 and 1. After the 8th, she was 2 up, 1 up by the 12th and after both players went Out of Bounds on the 13th, Claire took the hole with a Bogie - back to 2 up. Carefull play on the next few holes saw her remaining 2 up on the 17th Tee.
Hannah Crump sank a 20ft putt on the first but even with a further 3 birdies in her round, she was unable to make that next win for the team, losing on the 16th.
Charlotte, who had played so well on the previous three days, just could not sink those important putts on the back nine and lost her match on the 17th.
A great day's golf in the hot sun, saw Warwickshire winning the day 5 matches to 4.
