115 players in teams of 5 represented 23 Warwickshire clubs, with 3 players from each club going out in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. The weather (after the initial fog) was just a beautiful September day with the players, caddies and spectators enjoying the sunshire till early evening and Kenilworth Golf Course was set up beautifully for this event. After play, discussions around the clubhouse confirmed this, albeit that many players had difficulties with the greens and also getting out of bunkers!!

First out in the morning, representing home club Kenilworth was Jackie Corby, who until 6.30 a.m. on Friday was only the reserve. She scored the best of the day with a great 67 Nett - perhaps she did not have time to be nervous about representing her team in this prestigious tournament!

Eventually the Prize presentation took place at about 8.30 p.m. with the Chipman Cup - presented to the team with the best TEAM GROSS score - being presnted to the team from NUNEATON GOLF CLUB with a Gross 407. The Team representing Nuneaton were:- Kath Ashley (5), Rachel Rusted (5), Liz Galland (6), Marsha Button (7) and Charlotte Hartshorn (10). Congratulations to Nuneaton, especially as this win makes it two in a row.

Winners of The Daisy Harthill Cup in 2010 were Shirley Golf Club who came in with the best TEAM NETT score of 372. They were represented by:- Yen Pham (9), Sheila Armstrong (10), Carol O'Hare (11), Lesley Fisher (15) and Lynne Pearson (19). Once again congratulations to the girls from Shirley who also won the Daisy Harthill in 2008.

2nd in the Gross was Copt Heath with 414, with Moor Hall 3rd on 422.

2nd in the Nett was Nuneaton with 374 and 3rd Moor Hall with 381.
