With over half the field playing to within a shot of their handicap or better it was a good scoring day. Three of the players had returned from playing in the English Girls for the first time, all said it was a great experience and they had learnt alot to help their game. It was also good to see some more new faces playing in this event.

Playing in her first ever golf Competition was Danielle Heath from Ladbrook Park, who won the overall prize with 43 points. Her 54 handicap will be dramatically cut after this fine performance.

Emily Coleman from The Warwickshire was first in the 25+ handicap section with 38 points and Sophie Thompson, Marston Lakes, second with 35 points, edging out Megan Gee from The Warwickshire on a back 9 count-back.

Hannah-Pearl Wood, Nuneaton, lead the 0-24 section with 37 points with Shirley's own Katrina Gani second with 35 points.
