Ashley though was much closer to the leaders, with eight birdies on the day and scores of 74 then 75 to take 3rd with the Top 4 from the Girls being invited to the English Schools this June.
Bronwyn Davies was the eventual Champion after rounds of 70 then 74, four shots head of Northamptonshire's Megan McLaren who having got off a plane back from Italy at 2am, teed up first with an 80 but followed that with a new course record of 68 in the afternoon.
Warwickshire School Girls were second in the team competition, 10 shots back from winners Staffordshire.
It has to be said that Ashley, Hannah and past English U15s Champion Elizabeth all have perhaps another four years of hopefully making it through to the English Schools, and with such a pool of talent (with many more to come through), an English U18s Schools title cannot be too far away.
