In the U15 event, Ashley Cramond (The Warwickshire) lead the way after 36 holes to claim that prize. At this stage only 4 shots separated the top 5, producing an exciting reduced final over 18 holes, rather than the customary 36. With fatigue creeping in most of the players scored worse on their last round and Ashley slipped to 5th place. Elizabeth Mallett (Sutton Coldfield Ladies), who had never been out of the top 4, improved on her second round score to take the title by 1 shot from the England player Hannah Turland.

Elizabeth had been runner-up in the U13 event before so was especially pleased to win.

Hannah McLoughlin (Sutton Coldfield Ladies) finished 13th and Erika Dean (Olton) made the final for the first time to finish 19th playing below her handicap for all three rounds. Melissa Nicol and Gia Rhodes sadly did not make the cut. Alice Young and Hannah Crump playing down the road in the under 18 event also missed the cut in their rain disrupted competition.

In the U13 competition Charlotte Taylor (Rugby) played all her rounds under her handicap to win the Nett prize and finish 4th overall, an excellent performance.

Victoria Mallett played for the first time and gained valuable experience for next year.
