Somewhat unfortunately only seven of our 11 of our winning squad members from Ladbrook Park in June are available. Hannah Coles and Abbey Gittings are both now at University in the States and Lauren Taylor and Elizabeth Mallett are prioritising school as they embark on their final GCSE year. Rachel Rusted (Nuneaton) returns to the squad and both Hannah Crump (Copt Heath) and Charlotte Taylor (Rugby) are set to have their first experiences at County 1st team level. They will be nervous but such is our team spirit I am sure it won't take long for them to feel at ease.
The Warwickshire Squad comprises: -
Lisa Barton (Coventry)
Ashley Cramond (The Warwickshire)
Hannah Crump (Copt Heath)
Charlotte Dalton (Ladbrook Park)
Elizabeth Galland (The Warwickshire)
Elizabeth Haycock (individual member)
Claire Howells (Moor Hall)
Hannah McLoughlin (Sutton Coldfield)
Rachel Rusted (Nuneaton)
Charlotte Taylor (Rugby)

On paper Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire and Lancashire look to have the strongest teams this year, but, who knows, anything can happen in match play! Lancashire must be considered as favourites being on home turf and with three of their squad playing out of Pleasington!!
Supporters are always welcome although we appreciate we are a long way away. We hope to keep the WLCGA website pages updated daily (this probably won't be until around 9.00 pm) so please follow our fortunes from your armchairs!!!
I certainly wish my team the very best of luck and feel certain you do too.
