Many thanks must go to the Golf Club, greens and catering staff and Ann Robinson, Lady Captain, who with her band of helpers ensured that the day ran smoothly. Thanks should go too to the Warwickshire County Representative for organising the event.

A total of 23 girls took part in the competition, sadly much down on last year's entry. The overall winner and Midlands South Champion was Warwickshire's own Victoria MALLETT with rounds of 70 and 72 - bearing in mind that the Standard Scratch of the course is 75 this was a great result.

Runner Up was Charlotte HARTSHORN, also from Warwickshire with commendable rounds of 72 and 78.

Under 15 Scratch Champion was Charlotte WEST (Bucks) with 2 rounds of 76. Runner up was Ciara KELLY (Worcs) with a total of 157 for the two rounds.

Handicap Champion Alice KOZLOWSKI (Bucks) posted rounds of nett 72 and 71 with runner up Emily COTTON (Northants) just behind with a nett 72 and 69.

The Warwickshire Team of Victoria MALLETT, Charlotte TAYLOR and Katrina GANI were delighted to win the Handicap Team Trophy with a nett total of 440. Jim ROBINSON, Chief Executive of EWGA, presented the prizes.
