Elaine KENDAL and Elizabeth WILLIAMS from Coventry Hearsall came close with 36 points to gain 2nd place.(pictured left) Congratulations to all of them.

Everyone was complimentary about the condition of the course, this being down to the hard work of head Greenkeeper Richard Dorrington and his staff. Club Secretary Rob Griffiths made the day very successful with the help of Stuart Leech and his catering staff and James in the pro shop. Thanks was also given to Anne Hasting for running the ball sweep which raised £ 71.00 for County Coaching Fund (including juniors).

Kenilworth Lady Vice Captain Sue Draper did a wonderful job both helping on the reception desk and speaking at presentation. Sue kindly thanked Dottie Beanland for coming to present the prizes, at what was to be her last attendance in her official capacity as WLCGA Captain, before handing over the reins to Bobbi Waugh at the AGM next week.

Dottie also took the opportunity to present Jeanette Grimston with a present from the WLCGA, thanking her for her hard work over the years as Alliance & League Organiser, and everyone agreed what a wonderful job she had done. (pictured right)I would especially like to thank Jen for all of her advice, help and patience over the last few months, it has made my job taking over from her so much easier.

Now I am really looking forward to the next four Winter Alliances at Henley on the Saturday 10th December, Whitefields on the Monday 9th January, Robin Hood on the Monday 6th February and finally Stonebridge on the Monday 5th March.
