Alice was made an Honorary Member of WLCGA in 2011 on her 90th birthday and she was absolutely delighted to have received this honour in recognition of her golfing prowess, involvement in and work undertaken on behalf of the County Ladies' golf.

Over her playing career, she was Lady Captain in 1978 at Leamington & County Golf Club, where she also served on Committee untertaking many roles, ultimately being given Life Membership in 2010.

She joined the Warwickshire County Ladies Golf Association in 1982, was Hon. Secretary from 1985 to 1987, Hon. Competition Secretary from 1987 to 1989 and President of the Association from 1990 to 1992.

Over her years of association with the County Ladies, she has been a dedicated supporter of all County Events right up until very recently.

She will be sadly missed.
