It was a hole where Freeman clambered into the tie on 37 gross stableford points with a 30ft par putt.
Jonathan Bryan nearly matched the winning score but he found six bogies to go with his six birdies, whilst Matt Larvin (Handsworth) also shot 36 points. Bryan's form over the past three days earned himself, along with Kerr, an invite to play in the Midland Schools.
One point further back was the best player from Tuesday (the Schools) Phil Wastell, whose power was devastating, Wastell being the only player to hit the very long par five 1st - with a five iron! He drove the 16th (360 yards) with ease.
Making up the Top 10 we Tom Ibbertson (33) and Charlie Higgins and Will Bailey on 32.
Just one point further back was the very impressive Daanyal Spalding. Daanyal is only 13 but he beat a number of the Boys Team with his gross 31, and nett 42 points, a score which will knock a shot or two off his handicap of 11.
