This year, only Rob Browning and Andy Sullivan have a chance at the JoM No 1 slot and for Browning, its deja vu from the year before when he was one of 8 players in with a chance of taking the No 1 spot from Chris Evans, if Evans finished outside of the Top 4 in what is the biggest points on offer from the Tournament Schedule for our Juniors

If Andy Sullivan can win this 18 hole handicap stableford (The JoM CHampionship itself) then Rob will have to make sure he is Top 9 to guarantee being No 1. Rob and Andy have dominated Warwickshire Golf and at Midland level, but there are some notable entrants by higher handicap players into the Top 24.

Nathan Ray and Jamie Carney are only 11 but both are very close to being single figure players.

The following are the qualifiers for the 2004 JoM Championship, together with the 3 reserves who may gain a place in the field subject to withdrawals.

Please confirm as soon as you can that you are qualifier that either you are able to play, or that you cannot play

If you are a reserve, could you also confirm that you can or cannot play, subject to a qualifier with-drawing from the JoM Championship.

There is no entry fee for the JoM Championship

The competition will be a full handicap stableford over 18 holes – prize to the top 3

Play will be in 4s starting from the 1st tee at 10.48am

The draw will be done in reverse order of current position in the JoM

Immediately after the JoM Championship will be the presentations for the JoM Championships (Top 3 places) and the JoM itself – all competitors are expected to attend.

If competitors want to eat before play or when they have finished, the West Midlands Golf Club has an excellent range of bar snacks with burger and chips at £3.95 as just one of the menu items.
