Beginning tomorrow 26 July through to 1 August 2010, the historic West Virginia resort The Greenbrier, will sponsor and host The Greenbrier Classic, a PGA TOUR, FedEx Cup event.

The new tournament, bound to appeal to golf professionals and aficionados alike, will be held on The Old White Course, The Greenbrier?s original of three golf courses, dating back to 1914 and now fully restored to its former grandeur.

Easily accessible from the UK with non-stop flights from London to Atlanta and then a short non-stop flight to The Greenbrier Valley Airport, The Greenbrier resides on 6,500 acres of lush landscape.

The Greenbrier is the only resort golf course in the world to have hosted both the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup matches. From Sam Snead to Jack Nicklaus, from Nick Faldo to Tom Watson, many great players have played these courses.
