You don t get a ticket sent to you - you use the e-mail confirmation and a code for your booking. There is a reasonable baggage allowance which you pay to go over - when we travelled My Travel Lite had just changed their golf club carriage charges from an allowance which was basically for just half a set. You can now take a full set and you will need to take it to the oversize baggage drop off points after you have checked in.

If you haven t used an airline like My Travel Lite before, you don t have a reserved seat so our one criticism was that getting on the plane has a resemblance to part of the game which produced a recent World Cup triumph - and its not that you get a fantastic welcome home, a great a kicking or enjoy a line-out. Otherwise, we were on time, the seat pitch was pretty good and if you decide to pay for an in-flight snack, it was of a better quality than that we have been given on several scheduled flights. Any airline that does not use reserved seating needs to sort out getting on the plane but this apart the cost of travelling can be outstandingly low, low enough that spontaneous holidays are in a different (very affordable) price band.
