He jumped 13 places (from 29th) to now be just one place behind Scotland's James Byrne, who his a US College based golfer and was last year's beaten finalist in the British Amateur.

Byrne also has been scoring early WAGR points, his coming in the The Amer Ari Invitational, or Andy would have found himself the leading GB & Irish player in the rankings.

Any has just been part of the Winning England team in the 'Golfing Ashes' played against Australia's best Amateurs.

There is one more event on Andy's six week tour 'Down Under' - a 36 hole medal - before Andy returns home arriving back early next week - there will only be a brief bit of rest before Andy goes to the Spanish Amateur at the end of the month.
