The Country 6 qualification is for the EGU County finals. Six of our very best players will play 36 holes at Woodhall with every score counting to produce a grand total. We will play against 9 other Counties and the best total gross score from the team will qualify that County to meet up and play Matchplay against the winners of three other qualifying competitions. Woodhall is over two hours from Warwickshire but it is a very beautiful part of the Country (and its a fantastic golf course) so your support would be very welcome on a special day out when you can get to see the best in Amateur Golf in the Midlands and England

This is the start of Summer of Warwickshire Championship Golf which will end with the Warwickshire Open at Olton GC in early September. You have to have qualified to play in the Warwickshire Open and there are no entry forms for this Championship.

At the end of July (30th) is the Warwickshire Juniors and U21s Championships, at Harborne.

The following week on 3rd August, is the Warwickshire U15s Championship at its home of the North Warwickshire GC.

Its the turn of the U11s at Marston Lakes Golf and Country Club on 9th August.

On Monday 16th August, the Warwickshire Seniors will be held at Nuneaton GC.

For all of these Championships, at the end of this feature you will find PDFs of entry forms, posters and terms and conditions of entry. Or, you can press 'Competition', the button to the left and enter via e-mail. As of Monday 21st June, if you have a valid GSA number, you will be able to enter AND PAY on-line there and then - all via this site. A large number of Juniors already have GSA numbers.

To get a GSA number click on this link www.sportsitesaccess.co.uk

A valid GSA number is your own personal pin number (with password) which has been validated by your club. Its possibly where things will go in the near future as it makes things very easy for you as a player and for the administrators of competitions. Using a GSA number will guarantee you entry into a competition, subject to you fulfilling the terms and conditions of entry and that there is no need for a ballot on handicap. CLICK HERE for a simple info sheet on how the process works - it is very simple and many clubs are operating the system and all WU cubs should be aware of its availability.

If you enter and pay online using your GSA number, there will be an extra 50p on your entry fee to cover the costs of processing the transaction using the service provider for this facility.
