The 2004 County 6 – Woodhall Spa

These are the final team scores from Woodhall Spa on 19th June 2004. It was a tough day, over a very challenging course, and the final qualification came down to just one shot. Notable rounds included a new course record from Thomason (Leics) of 66 – Thomason being the man who replaced Gary Wolstenholme!

CSS for both rounds was 75, showing the difficulty of the course. Below are listed the team scores and the individual rounds from our players. We had two players who tied for the best individual score of the day – David Hayes (Coventry) and Chris Evans (Maxstoke).

Next year the County 6s will be at Worfield, in Shropshire, with the finals at St Enedoc.
