2003 Volvo PGA - Preview
How to get there - It should take less than 1 1/2 hours - Take the M40 to London. Get off at Junction 4 and take the A404 South. When you come to the M40 roundabout (J 8/9) take the 1st L (still Motorway). After about 1/2 mile at the first roundabout, take the A330 to Ascot. This road is about 8 miles long and on the outskirts of Ascot, you will see signposts to Virginia Water which take you past Royal Ascot on your right (watch out for road closures if there is racing). Turn L and you ll see signs for the World Matchplay - its about 2 miles.

Who is playing? - its the best field of the year with only Padriag Harrington missing. The leader of the Order of Merit can shoot low 60 s in the World Matchplay but doesn t have so much confidence about Wentworth at this time of the year so he won t be taking on Ernie Els, Paul Casey, Adam Scott (1st appearance in Europe this year), Darren Clarke, Niclas Fasth (surely going to win in the next three weeks), Monty, Ollie .... - everyone is here!

How much does it cost? - Tickets are £25.00 per day or £60.00 for a season ticket. Juniors (U16 s) accompanied by a full paying adult get in free. There is free car parking and free buses all over the estate.
