On the four day tour, golfers will have a mix of sport and history and culture. They will be guided around Ho Chi Minh, with its French colonial architecture, Asian Palaces and the World famous network of Cu Chi tunnels. The Golf starts with a choice of two courses at Vietnam Golf and County Club - either the West course, very Asian in flavour (designed by Chen King Sikh) or the shorter and more open East course (by Lee Trevino).

The last golf course in the shorter tour is at Vietnam s first international standard championship course at Song Be Golf Resort. Its considered a good test of golf for any level of player. This tour costs £405, based on four people sharing two rooms in the 3* rex Hotel and the price includes return flights between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh. Also included in the price is all transfers and transportation between course, three nights B&B accommodation, the services of the guide - and of course the green fees for two rounds of golf. A second hotel options, the 3* Kim Do is available for £385 per person.

If you want to spend longer in Vietnam, the 8 day tour stars with the same itinerary as the shorter tour then moves to the coastal resorts and the cooler climate of Dalat. Vietnam has a wonderful history and a culture which goes way back beyond the troubles of the 70 s. On the longer tour, you will leave Ho Chi Minh to travel to Bochang Don Nai Resort. At present it is 18 holes with lots of water so careful play is a must. Very soon another nine will be added. The next round will be at the links style Ocean Dunes Golf Club, designer Nick Faldo. This is a medium length course of just over 6700 yards which can play very difficult because of the winds, the sea breezes.

For a finale, you will play a round at the Dalat Palace Golf Club. Originally designed in 1956, the course now measures over 7000 yards. It features (the only course in South East Asia to do so) Bent grass greens and fairways, considered the Ultimate playing surface. The course runs through rolling hills and has many mature trees - and is set alongside the Xuan Huong Lake.
