Launch of HSBC Junior Match Play PLUS Pee Wee Wonders 2006
HSBC's commitment to grassroots golf in the UK continues to grow with the launch of the HSBC Junior Match Play, for 12 -18 year old boys and girls. This feature also includes info and details on the HSBC Pee Wee Wonders circuit for 2006

Junior organisers are invited to nominate a monthly medal, between 1 April and 31 July, to become the HSBC Junior Match Play qualifying event. HSBC will provide an exclusive prize for the winner of each boys and girls age group category (under 15s and under 18s) and a free gift for all competitors. All the club has to do is declare a winner!

Once all the qualifiers have taken place, the top 6 boys and girls net scorers (based on C.S.S that day) and the top 2 gross scorers from each age category from across the country will be invited to attend an all-expenses paid HSBC Junior Match Play Grand Final. The Grand Final will be held at The Vale, Glamorgan, a resort set in over 600 acres of beautiful parkland, on 8-10 September.

In recognition of their efforts in encouraging their members to participate, each competition organsier will be awarded a pair of complementary tickets to this year?s HSBC World Match Play Championship at Wentworth in September.

Giles Morgan, HSBC's Head of Sport Sponsorship & Marketing, says 'HSBC is delighted to extend our grassroots programme, to include the inaugural HSBC Junior Match Play tournament. This continues our focus on providing opportunities for aspiring boy and girl golfers, and by developing UK grassroots talent and golf in the community, we help to safeguard the game?s future.?'
