| Fliss isn't sure where she will make her debut - 'Probably Tenerife, in the first week of May. I may go to South Africa, at the end of February, for their mini tour of four events.'
There is also a week long Pro-Am in Spain (Desert Springs) whilst Winter is still here, an event which Fliss is in the field for through her contacts with Becky Brewerton.
To be on Tour is very expensive (Editors' note - think several hundred pounds each week, if not a thousand sometimes, and there is only one Tournament in England) so sponsorship is all important. Red Bull are supporting Fliss, and her golf Club Harborne have also been very generous but Fliss needs to find more sponsors. She has a couple of friends helping look for new sponsors but if you are interested, even say helping for just one tournament, Fliss would be very glad to hear from you.
'I had a great time as an amateur - playing for GB & I, England, and Warwickshire,' said Fliss, 'The Curtis Cup was a big disappointment. You can do anything once the decision has been made.'
'The highlight for me was winning the English Championship in 2005 - the Top Tournament in English Ladies Golf.
'Reaching the County Finals in 2004 was the best team time for Warwickshire. We had a great team spirit which topped it all off.'
'Winning the Warwickshire Amateur last year was very special to me, as was my first big Warwickshire Championship, the Schools - that was at Rugby wasn't it?'
What about the toughest opponents and the best and worst shots Fliss saw or played in her time as an amateur?
'Kirsty Jennings was very difficult to play against. She was part of the ELGA development team set-up when I was in that squad, then suddenly I am playing against her in major championships.
'Claire Dowling was very difficult to beat, just because of the record of everything that has gone before.
'I think the worst shot I hit was in the foursomes of the Sub Divisional finals at Sherwood Forest. I was playing with Lisa Barton and hit her straight into a bush. She 'got me back' a few times but we only lost once in three years so must have been good together!
What about the Juniors who are coming through, to replace Fliss?
'Charlotte Dalton has a lot of potential, Abbey (Gittings) as well. Sylvia Evans and her team have done such a great job over the last seven years. The young girls need to get stuck in, play as much as they can and gain the experience you need!'
Fliss takes more than three years experience at the top of English Ladies golf into her professional career. There is lots more to learn though before Fliss can really feel comfortable as a Pro - that first Top 10 in a championship, making the Top 30 in the OOM before this year's Weetabix to gain automatic entry, being even higher placed in the OOM to go into the Weetabix - or what about a first win.
Fliss has all our best wishes for the next year and many more to come. We will try to cover her results every time she plays but keep your eyes open for news as she looks to develop her talents to the very highest levels/ Good Luck!
