COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS ENTRY STARTS 2007 SEASON
All the entry forms for the Counties' Championships are now available on this site. If you were not yet thinking about the 2007 Golf Season, it starts now with the release of all the entry details you will need to play in both the WUGC and the WLCGA Championships through this coming Spring, Summer and Autumn. For the WUGC, click 'COUNTY MEN'. For the WLCGA click 'COUNTY LADIES'.

Each section has a headline article which contains all the entry forms for each organisation's events. That article will stay as a headline feature for at least the next two weeks, until the launch of the 'COMPETITIONS' section for 2007 (see LH nav).

In 2006 'COMEPTITIONS' gave one click access to the entry forms for Championships and many Club Opens. It is being expanded for 2007 and we already have more than 50 entry forms from clubs for their Open competitions.

In 2007, it will be in three sections - the WUGC Championships, the WLCGA Championships and finally Club Opens. 'COMPETITIONS' will be launching in approximately three weeks so check with your competitions organiser if your club events have been sent to us for inclusion on the first update.

There will be plenty of County Golf News on this site over the next few weeks, as the season draws ever nearer. You can alss find new ''FEATURES' virtually every day, in that section of the site. This starts with nightly reports from the Commercial Bank Quatar Masters, with pictures, a service very kindly provided by this very prestigious event on the European and Asian Tours.

Look out for tens of holiday ideas, and what to take away with you on your travels. The new range from 'SkyCaddy' will be featured, together with new kit for 2007.

The Junior Order of Merit for 2007 will be launched at the Junior Delegates Meeting in early February. More than 600 Juniors took part in 2006 and expect to see many more in 2007. Who will win the Birmingham Post & Mail Trophy this year?

Warwickshire Men will contest the County 6s qualifier with home advantage this season, as it will be played at Coventry Finham in June. Can prospective new County captain Gareth Jenkins repeat last year's success. By then, the Warwickshire Ladies will already know if they have reached County Sub-Division Finals in their County Championships.

Pre this season, we will tell the story of the 2006 South Warwickshire Inter-Club League, through the results they kindly provided us with through last Summer. They were the only league to do so in 2006 and we would like to bring you news of every inter-club league - League Organisers please contact us as soon as you can if you want your results on this site in 2007.
