LOTS TO LOOK AT
Tuesday 20th February - We have added lots of new bits and pieces to the web site tonight. The first thing you should have a look at is the feature below all about the luncheon in just a few weeks time where Beverly Lewis will be guest speaker. The date for your diary is Friday 16th March (if you don't already have a ticket) and its not just a wonderful lunch ... see below

Your WLCGA County Booklet is a vital source of info and entry forms on Ladies Golf in our County. WE have put all the entry forms on this site (so you can keep your booklet in one piece), in the Warwickshire Ladies part, but in the next couple of days, all you need to do to find an entry form for a WLCGA Championship is click 'COMPETITIONS' on the LH Nav.

There are three groups of entry forms displayed - the second one is all the WLCGA events. If you have never played in a WLCGA Championship, they are superbly organised with lots of prizes and some of the most prestigious trophies you can play for. If you are a regular participant, make sure you are playing this year.

The third section (over 70 events) is a perfect 'notice board' for lots of Club Opens, arranged in calendar date order. Each type of Open has its own icon - one for Mens, one for Ladies and one for Seniors - plus of course one for Mixed golf - so you can easily pick out more days out! The basic details of each Open are there with a link for the entry form. Do check all the conditions of entry before you send them off.

You booklet also contains a number of calendars. We have taken those pages and turned them into PDFs for you, just in case your booklet is not to hand. There are all given below AND they have been distributed throughout this site in their relevant sections.

WLCGA held a most successful Liaison Meeting for clubs earlier this month at Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club when Sharon Heeley from ELGA was guest speaker. During the meeting the wide range of fixtures and events for the year were highlighted and Anne Parry, Captain and Chairman emphasised the importance and the role of county golf was for everyone, and not just the elite golfers.

Delegates also had the opportunity to hear about ELGA's plans for the development of golf around the county.

For those ladies unable to attend the meeting, copies of the presentations can be downloaded from the website.
