LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GOLF SEASON
Its just a few weeks to the start of the 2007 season and County Captain Anne Parry and 2nds Captain Kath Ashley are readying their players for what will be a busy season, whilst Warwickshire Junior Girls continue to develop into such a talented group. This month there is the Luncheon at The West Midlands Golf Club with Beverly Lewis as guest speaker (see the separate feature - make sure you have a ticket!) whilst April sees all the WLCGA teams taking part in pre-season friendlies.

If you haven't entered the County Competitions, all the Entry forms are now additionally available if you click on 'COMPETITIONS' on the LH nav, as well as lots of Club Open Entry forms. Each type of Open has its own icon so after you have seen the WLCGA events (they have their own special section), the Calendar of Opens will show you Ladies Opens and Mixed events by the icons.

The very beginning of May sees the County Championships at Stratford-on-Avon. With Fliss now a Professional and Claire retired, will Tracy capture one more title, will Kerry take her first County Championship, or will a Junior follow in the footsteps of Hannah and of course Fliss?

All these questions will of course be answered in just a few weeks but whilst you wait for that news, in 'Features' we have tried to keep any golfer entertained throughout the Winter months and we will do so into the Spring and then for the whole of golf season.
