SITE NEWS FOR THE WEEKEND 28TH AND 29TH APRIL
You will have noticed some little changes to this site happening over the last few days. There has been a major software upgrade which will make things like 'Google' searching of the huge content on this site much easier. You will also have seen the promotion of 'CLASSIFIEDS' on this site and on posters at your club. The changes have disrupted making the updated 2007 JOM ready.

Clubs have been sending in updates for the JOM for the last few weeks. All the clubs that have sent in updates with their JOM entry fee will be able to put their first JOM points on very early next week. We have been testing the software over this last week and will continue to do so this weekend. This delay has been unavoidable and we are sorry it has happened but the software changes were needed before the season started.

If your club hasn't sent in the updated list of your Junior (or paid its entry fee) make sure they do so as quickly as they can. The next chance for JOM points outside of Club Junior golf is during half-term with the first listed Junior Open at Kings Norton - entry forms are available by clicking 'COMPETITIONS'.

The new feature on this site is 'CLASSIFIEDS'. There are lots of sections you can use, some of them free such as ANNOUNCEMENTS where you can let your golfing friends across the County know about things like getting engaged, married or the birth of a child. You can also use it for anniversaries.

For other sections, the advert fee can be as little as £ 2.00 to have your advertisement on the site for 30 days. To advertise for 60 days starts at £ 3.00 and for 120 days rate begin at £ 4.00.

You can sell your second hand golf clubs, or golf kit. You can advertise Property you want to sell or rent. If you have a business or service you can promote it on this site.

There are some demo adverts for you to look and a full feature will be here early next week but you can place adverts now. This site is hugely popular with golfers across Warwickshire and the West Midlands so its a perfect place to advertise to fellow golfers.
