| The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort is a premium all inclusive five star hotel on the south coast of Mauritius where all guests receive a daily round of golf. The international 18-hole golf course was designed by the South African architect Peter Matkovitch, and is built on more than 100 acres of land, within an exceptional natural environment, with views overlooking the Indian Ocean. Features include making optimum use of the two watercourses that traverse the golf course and integrating the existing stone chateau of Bel Ombre and its formal garden. The par 72 course is designed in two nine hole loops. The outward nine is 3230m in length while the inward nine has a length of 3290m. The four par threes vary in length from 140m to 200m, the par fours from 320m to 430m and the four par fives from 490m to 520m. The golf course boasts stunning views of the green mountains on one side and the endless Indian Ocean on the other. Other facilities include a driving range, chipping area and putting green.
