Royal North Devon

The closest senior golf course to Downe, it is the oldest seaside links in England. Its reputation is that it is a very friendly club with a demanding course. Handicap certificates are required.

Saunton Golf Club

Saunton Golf Club is the most prestigious of the North Devon courses. It is playable in almost any weather. The Championship East course on 6708 yards par 73 sits alongside the newer West Course 6356 yards par 71. Handicap certificates are required

Bude and North Cornwall Club

Another great local course is located close to the centre of Bude. It has a natural all weather, quick draining surface which provides play off regular tees to regular greens 360 plus days a year. The demands made by the strength and direction of the wind ensure that the course is never easy and presents a new and different challenge every time you play. Handicap certificates are required.

Holsworthy Golf Club is a parkland course that challenges both beginners and low handicap players. It has no handicap requirements
