| Andy had four birdies in his morning round and went to lunch three up. He made the four at the 19th when he birdied the par five. Then started the Bailey come-back.
Will took a couple of holes early on, then made four at the par five 7th to be just one down. He hit first to the 190 yard par three 8th and his tee-shot was a couple of feet from the hole. Andy responded by hitting his own tee-shot to 6ft, holed that birdie putt then asked Bailey the question - Will duly made his own two.
One the 9th, another par five, Andy took four but could only watch as Will chipped in for an eagle.
Into the back nine, the pair swapped holes for the lead. They stood on the 16th tee all-square and both hit the green at the toughest par four on Ladbrook. Will was a long way from the hole, Andy just 6ft. The pressure told and Will three putted.
It was all over at the 17th when after a 2 iron lay-up, Andy spun a lob wedge to 3ft - above the hole - and calmly rolled in the winning birdie putt.
'It was the Men's all over again,' said Andy after the match, 'The 'Michael McCormack' come-back - Michael was too good that day and Will was just the same today - only I just took it!'
There was more good news for Andy as he found he was no longer a reserve for the British Boys next week at Royal Porthcawl - he is in the field and can only take confidence from his performance over the last three days.
