| SENIORS NEWS - COUNTY 6S AND RE-ARRANGED SENIORS OPEN |
| The English Seniors County Championship qualifier - 16th August - Shrewsbury GC - Senior Captain, and Warwickshire Seniors champion, Geoff Tatton has chosen his team who will try to qualify for the English Seniors Championship to be held at Rotherham GC in October. |

The team's last match was against Northants at Collingtree Park and was a resounding victory for Warwickshire 13 points to 5.
Warwickshire must be getting used to the bad weather as once again the heavens opened in both morning and afternoon matches to produce a quagmire of a course which they were fortunate to be playing on. Considering the weather the greens were a credit to the staff.
The morning fourballs had Warwickshire winning 8 points to 4 and the afternoon greensome 5 points to 1.
A special mention should go to Tony Featherstone who managed to achieve some sponsorship for the Senior team from Bob Stafford (Ben Stafford?s Father) which has been greatly appreciated by all the team members.
RE-ARRANGED SENIORS OPEN
The Coventry GC Seniors Open was unfortunately rained off and is to be replayed on Wednesday 22nd August and some start times are now available.
The entry fee is £ 20.00
