The Warwickshire Schools is open to anyone aged 18 or under (as of 31st August 2007) who is still at school or college. If you are not at school or college, you can still enter as a guest to score 2008 Junior Order of Merit points - this is the first counting event of 2008.

You should have an Official club handicap to enter but there is no upper limit.

The two gross trophies go to the best players of the 18 holes of the competition - they will be Boys and Girls Schools Champions for 2008.

There is a Nett Trophy for the best nett score by a Boy or Girl.

There is an U16s Trophy for the best U16s gross score - by U16s you must be U16 on 14th July 2008, the date of the English Schools U16s Championship for which the winner automatically qualifies.

If three players from the same school or college enter they will automatically be put into the Team Championship (no entry fee). This is a 2 from 3 scores total of stableford points with the best team going forward to the English School Team Championship to be held on 10th July 2008 at Penn GC.

If six or more players from one school or college enter as individuals, then that school or college can have a second ( a 'B' team) in the Team Championships. The organisers MUST be notified of the players who will be in each team before the first shot is hit on the day of the Schools, or else the organisers will select a team on the basis of handicap - lowest three, then highest three etc.

There are prizes for the winners and runners up of the gross competitions, the Top 4 in the Nett, The winners of the Team trophy, and some age group gross prizes.
