| Warwickshire Men v Ladies |
| 30th April 2008 - North Warwickshire GC was the venue for the annual clash between the county men and ladies. Both Louis Meryon and Bev Belcher (Ladies Captain) expected a tough match with Louis fielding a strong side who had to give shots to the ladies in the foursomes format. |

| Ben Stafford and Rob Browning had to work hard to get a half in their match having met some dogged resistance from the ladies first pair.
Louis Meryon and Nick Clifford used their experience to beat young opposition on the 15th green.
Karl Smith and Sean Young were always in control of their match and won by the same margin.
The only two 'gentlemen' of the team, Ian Stranks and Anthony Gascoigne slumped to a 2&1 loss after some indifferent play.
Final result;
Warwickshire Men won 2 1/2- 1 1/2
The match was played in good spirit and the players were just pleased to get out and get some competitive matchplay golf after all the early season cancellations.
The weather threatened to spoil proceedings again but the rain stayed away long enough for all the matches to be completed.
