Rob Holland and Adam had a close match but came up short losing 1 down. Nathan Ray and Harry Ibbertson then had a comfortable win 7/6. Tom Guy and Jake Scott seemed to have trouble with clubbing and couldn't find the hole so then went down early 6/4. The final match was a comfortable win for Will Smith and Michael Pell 4/2.

The teams started the singles all square and early wins by Adam Ferraro and Nathan Ray were encouraging. These points were cancelled out with losses from Tom Ibbertson and Michael McCormack.

Harry Ibbertson held on for a half. Rob Holland's match finished on the last hole 1 Up. Jake Scott and Tom Guy both struggled again. Will Smith did a great job as anchor man, so the match result went to the last match on the course and the last hole.

Unfortunately Michael Pell did not find the last green in two, so he lost 1 down. He did very well in only his second outing for the Boys team, winning his foursomes with Will Smith. He is a good prospect for next year.

The best unbeaten performances were by Nathan Ray, Will Smith and Harry Ibbertson.

Over all the result was disappointing as Warwickshire have lost both of the League matches so far. Winning the league is now going to be a tall order.
