87 Exhibitors, plus lots of special guests (you may well catch Tim Henman on Saturday), and a fair splash of bargains to be had are the main attractions. There is is usual opportunity to have your swing assessed (and have lots of people watching you during your lesson).

You can enter competitions galore and test your skill on several 'computer' courses plus hole the 100ft putt (those having a go on Friday were a bit ham-fisted - its does need some touch).

There are a couple of individual quality trolley suppliers (with what looked like good prices) whilst american golf have a dedicated area for everything golf (the deals on golf balls looked very enticing)

For those who like style, there are some new suppliers in attendance, one of whom we will profile individually on this site whilst for the aficionados, check out the master club maker.

This may well be the last Golf only show - but don't worry, its going to regenerate just like Doctor Who ... breaking news coming soon.

STOP PRESS - we won't be at Q school but one of Friday's special guests Rob Biddiscombe will be. Rob has just written his second book on Q School (Its the first book in our 2009 Christmas Gifts list, starting on Monday) and he will be tracking all the contenders in this years' European tour Qualifying on his web site www.golfonthedge.co.uk (Hint - its also the cheapest place to buy his book!). So fingers crossed for Sam Walker and other local players for the next six days!
