McArdle Golf & the PGA National Golf Academy
When £1.2M was invested in the PGA National Golf Academy at the De Vere Belfry, the project needed an extensive range of golf driving equipment. Much of the project was fulfilled by McArdle Leisure. McArdle Golf and Leisure are based at Abingdon. Much of their Range Servant golf driving range equipment was fitted in this brand new facility which includes club fitting facilities for most of the major manufacturers as well as a top of the range driving range, practice green, chipping facilities.

McArdle supplied Range Servant Ball Dispensers, Select Payment Systems, Elevator, Hopper, Ball Blowers; Ball Washers, Pickers, Trays and Baskets - and 28 Impaktee 1.7sq m golf mats, as well as the synthetic surfacing in a number of the fitting and teaching rooms.

The Select Payment System was chosen because it gives the Academy full accountability, flexibility and comprehensive management information. This product has a proven track record and is used extensively throughout golf ranges in the UK.

The Impaktee golf mats are extremely durable and their synthetic turf closely mimics natural turf.

Overall - the Academy is state if the art and the look is top quality. There is no doubt that the quality of the McArdle product was a very important part of why the company was part of this project.
