And for each club sent out to International Pairs competitors the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme receives a 25p donation – so participants are effectively playing for charity as well.

The International Pairs – the largest club competition of its kind in the world - is now in its seventh year. And it’s so simple to enter.

Clubs host a qualifying event and the winning pair from the club travel to Scotland – the 2004 Golfing Destination of the Year - for a semi-final on a championship golf course, which includes complimentary accommodation and golf, with an invitation to a special Scottish-themed welcome reception.
