| The Oadby Golf Festival | |||
| Oadby organise perhaps the only seven day golf festival in the UK and this year there is an open invitation* for clubs in Warwickshire to enter a team in the Festival’s Am-Am (*The first 80 teams entered will make up the field for the Am-Am). Oadby’s festival has lots more competitions that individuals or two ball team’s can enter and this feature contains details of the whole week, as well as the contact details and web site for application forms. In 2005, the club will add significantly to the thousands of pounds it has raised for charities over the past few years. | |||

| The club is in Leicestershire, about 50 minutes from Birmingham and South Warwickshire so for a Summer’s day out with some competitive golf, check out your diaries and those of friends and why not enter some of the competitions? There is an event for anyone. This year’s patron of the festival is Christy O’Connor Jnr.
SUNDAY July 17th Open Fourball Betterball Stableford (any combination) H/C Limits. Men 28 – Ladies 36 (allowance ¾) Start times from 7.00 am. Prizes include: Best Men Pair – Best Lady Pair & Best Mixed Pair. Entry Fee £25.00 per couple

MONDAY July 18th Leicestershire & Rutland Open for Disabled Persons 18 hole Stableford – Start Times from 10.00 am Entry fee £10.00 per person
TUESDAY July 19th Seniors Day (age groups 55-65 & 65+) Single Stableford –H/C Limit 28 – Prizes for each age group Start times from 7.00 am Entry fee £10.00 per person
