- King Henrys take 3rd in English Schools Team Championships
Woodhall Spa - 6th July - the final of the English Schools Team Championships - King Henry VII School, represented by Tom and Ben Charley and Josh Davenport, took third place in the English Schools Finals last week, Warwickshire's best placing for many many years.
- Midland Schools - 2 through
This was not the best day for Warwickshire but our top two made it through to the English Schools on a week's time at Belton Park.
- EGU Midland Ten Counties Qualifier - not our best year
The format is teams of 6, playing 36 holes medal, with aggregate of best 5 scores in each round to count, the winning county to represent the Midlands in the National Finals in August. So how did we do and what went on?

The Midland Schools 2010 - Ingon Manor Golf and Country Club - Monday 31st May - After two 'fallow' years, both Boys trophies from the Midland Schools are back in bear Country, after another very close tussle with Leicestershire and Shropshire & Herefordshire.
- Junior News - Walmley 4th!
Junior Champion club tournament August 9/10th 2009 - Venue: Burghley Park golf Club, Lincs. Walmley qualified to represent Warwickshire at the Boys Trials.The team was lead by Junior Captain, Sam Teather, ably supported by the new Warwickshire Matchplay Champion, Rob Holland and the youngest member of the team, Thomas Jones.
- Battle of the Schools
Schools across Birmingham will be battling it out this week at two Birmingham City Council city-wide competitions, the largest city school competitions of their kind in England. The Golf Xtreme Final for secondary schools will be held at Harborne Church Farm on July 8 from 3.45pm- 6.00pm, whilst the Tri Golf Final for primary and junior schools will be taking place at Rednal Hill Primary School on July 9 from 10.00am - 2.30pm. Spectators are welcome to watch the enthralling finals.
