2007/8 Warwickshire Cup - Warwickshire Schools Entry - January 1st 2008. In the update, you will find the completed draw for the 2007-2008 Warwickshire Cup, after the 1st Round Matches, and the first entry forms for 2008, for the 26th Warwickshire Schools which will be played at the West Midlands GC on Tuesday 25th March. JOM CHAMPIONSHIP - START SHEET
The 2007 Junior Order Of Merit Championship - Saturday 6th October - The West Midlands Golf Club - The field of 18 players who will compete for the 2007 JOM is in this feature, from the more than 1000 Junior who registered and the near 300 who actually won points through 2007.
Girls Stableford Series
NEWS FROM JANE DENNICK - COUNTY JUNIOR ORGANISER - The second round of the series was held at Walmley GC on 31st May. The winner with 38 points was Hannah Pearl Wood, Nuneaton, followed by Gia Rhodes, Copt Heath with 36 points. Third place was taken by Katrina Gani of Shirley with 35 points. The winner of the first round at Ladbrook Park in April was Kerri Mirfield with 42 points followed by Fleur Davies with 40 points, both of Coventry, Finham. Leanne King, Shirley, took third place with 37 points. As Kerri was unable to play in the second round, the series is building up to an exciting finish at Edgbaston in October.

Warwickshire clean up at the 5 Counties Mixed Foursomes Championship for Under 18a
Warwickshire Girls and Boys won the best gross team trophy with a 3 from 4 score of 228, one shot ahead of Staffordshire. We also won the best net trophy by half a shot from Staffordshire. This is likely to be the best achievement at this event for Warwickshire for many years.
The 2006 Warwickshire Junior Order of Merit.
The 2006 Junior Order of Merit starts with the 2006 Warwickshire Schools Championships, one of nearly 30 Championships and Junior Opens through to the end of September and concludes with the JOM Championship in early October. In addition to the listed events, any Junior registerred can also score Order of Merit points from 10 of their home club events and matchplay wins. And the winner will hold the new Birmingham Post and Mail Trophy for the year!
