- ENGLISH COUNTY FINALS 2009 - FINAL DAY
First out this morning were Rachel Rusted and Liz Galland and with clouds gathering they had a very close match, finally clinching a half point on the 18th. Regrettably Liz Cramond and Hannah McLoughlin did not fare so well, losing their match on the 15th. The last foursome match was much closer with Claire Howells and Charlotte Dalton pulling back to just one down on the 17th, only to halve the final hole and thus lose the match 1 down.
- ENGLISH COUNTY FINALS 2009 - DAY 4
The fourth day of the County Finals and Hertfordshire, last year's runners-up, were the team that Warwickshire had to face on a cloudy morning. Charlotte Dalton & Hannah McLoughlin led the way in foursomes with birdies on the first two holes but unfortunately the experience of the Hertfordshire pair overhauled their flying start and they finally lost 2&1. Claire Howells and Lisa Barton fought a hard match but also lost 2&1. Final pairing of Rachel Rusted and Liz Galland could not recover from a slow start.
- ENGLISH COUNTY FINALS 2009 - DAY 3
Today the team faced the well fancied home side Lancashire. Morning foursomes started with Lauren Taylor and Ashley Cramond who, after a very tight match, clinched a half by winning the 18th hole. Lisa Barton and Charlotte Taylor had a tough match as did Rachel Rusted with Liz Galland (playing for the first time this week) with both matches finishing early. All the Warwickshire players felt that they played well but just did not manage to overcome the local players' knowledge of the course.
- ENGLISH COUNTY FINALS 2009 - DAY 2
Tuesday saw Warwickshire playing Surrey in the second day of the county finals. Sadly Elizabeth Haycock had to leave the squad at lunchtime because of family illness at home. Overnight the squad had been joined by Rachel Rusted and Ashley Cramond. Ashley had played for the English Schools team against Scotland, earning 2 out of 2 points. Also at short notice, as Elizabeth Haycock was leaving the team, Lauren Taylor journeyed up last night to play today.
- ENGLISH COUNTY FINALS 2009 - DAY 1
Day one saw Warwickshire against Gloucestershire. With the weather a little misty, the morning foursomes saw Warwickshire get off to a slow start losing all three matches. New team member Charlotte Taylor played with Lisa Barton. The other pairings were Claire Howells & Liz Haycock and Charlotte Dalton with Hannah McLaughlin, who had a close match finally losing on the 17th.
