2008 Events and other Competitions
The 2008 season is just weeks away. We hope you all have a wonderful year. There are lots of events going on throughout the season and next month please put in your diaries the first of the special Rules Evenings on March 6th (the second is on 1st April). The posters for these articles is in this feature, along with calendars for both teams and the competative players. Please print them for your own use and especially Club Notice Boards.

GOLD IS GOOD FOR JOY
Joy Trinder from Stratford upon Avon Golf Club won the LGU Gold Medal Final at Stanton-on-the-Wold Golf Club, Nottingham on 21st June 2005.
Oakridge Ladies Win National Competition

Edgbaston GC Invitation To Prospective Lady Members
The Ladies Section of Edgbaston Golf Club have put together a superb initiative aimed at attracting newcomers to the area and those relatively new to the game of golf. There will be two events run during June. The programme for each includes coffee on arrival, 9 holes of golf followed by a light lunch. These are sure to be a great success (especially since there is no entry fee) so make sure you get your name forward quickly by following the instructions listed at the end of the article.
Warwickshire Wonder Wins Again!
The Whittington Ladies Trophy - Tuesday 20 April 2004. Nine Warwickshire players entered this eight year old championship this year, and it served as practice round for County Week to be held 13-15 June at Whittington. Plus there was the added benefit of a Warwickshire winner in our very own Claire Dowling!
