| County Championships Day 3 Semi finals | ||
Abbey Gittings defeated Elizabeth Galland 5 and 4 this morning. There was nothing much between them from tee to green but Abbey had the edge with her putting. Two birdies, one bogey and level pars saw our 2007 Champion progress into the final.
Charlotte Dalton came up against Lisa Barton and the story was much the same here. A couple of birdies and straight pars saw Charlotte take the edge and reach the final for the first time. Result 5 and 4.

| Another beautiful day greeted the top 16 qualifiers for the knock out stages. Defending champion Abbey Gittings went five up after five holes and continued with steady pars to win 7/6 against Elizabeth Murdoch. |

| It just gets better and better! Warwickshire final 16 ladies who made the cut after the initial 36 hole stroke-play event competed in day two of the County Championships. The knock out stages played in matchplay format began today and produced some excellent play that would rival any other similar event that might be taking place nearby!
