Lauren Taylor wins English Girls' U15 Championship |

Warwickshire's Lauren Taylor (Rugby Golf Club)claimed her second national title in a week when she won the English girls' U15 championship by two shots at Ramside, Durham.
Other notable top ten finishes in the Championships for Warwickshire players were Elizabeth Mallet (Sutton Coldfield GC), who finished third, only six shots behind Lauren, and Ashley Crammond (The Warwickshire).

| Elizabeth Mallett has been selected as one of eight teenagers to represent The English Women's Golf Association for the Scottish U16 open strokeplay championship at Craigielaw Golf Club, near Edinburgh, on April 10 and 11. The event provides the players with an opportunity to gain championship experience and to prepare for the season ahead.

Elizabeth Earnshaw, who was one of the first women to referee at The Open championship, has been nominated as the 2008-09 president of the English Ladies? Golf Association. Her appearance alongside the players at St Andrews in 1995 was one of a number of notable 'firsts' in a long and high-profile career at the sharp end of golf administration.
