September is almost here and although most of us would agree hat we haven't really had a summer our Club Teams are lining up ready for the WLCGA 2008 Team Championships. Robin Hood Golf Centre is geared up to provide prizes for the two winning teams.
INTER CLUB TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006
The Inter Club Team Championships were held at Nuneaton Golf Club on Monday 4th September 2006. 24 clubs took part with 5 players per team and each score to count. The weather was fine; the matches were competitive and played in good sporting spirit with excellent support from everyone at Nuneaton.
The 2005 Team Championships
Held at Stratford-on-Avon GC on Monday 5th September 2005. The sun cleared away the clouds at lunch as the first finishers from the 115 players came back to the clubhouse for this most friendly, but tense championship in the WLCGA Calendar. In teams of five, each of the 23 clubs would not know their final gross or nett position until the very last cards were in - as all scores counted.

WLCGA Team Championship 2003
The W.L.C.G.A. Team Championships were held at Copt Heath Golf Club on Monday, 8th September and despite a fairly horrendous weather forecast, all 130 competitors (26 teams) got round in dry and gentle conditions - and just before darkness set in!
