Midlands' Girls Matchplay Finals 2008
The Midlands Girls Match-play Finals 2008 were held at Droitwich Golf Club. Monday 27th October saw the first day's play in cold, breezy but sunny conditions. The qualifying counties were Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire, Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire. The Warwickshire players were Elizabeth Mallett, Ashley Cramond, Elizabeth Haycock, Hannah McLoughlin, Alice Young and Hannah Crump with Erika Dean as reserve.

The girls' scratch team has won the 5 Counties match-play league after a wait of 18 years.
Girls' handicaps tumble over two days in August
Handicaps tumbled over two days at the end of the girls? summer holidays. The events were the second round of the Warwickshire Stableford Series held at Wishaw followed by the Five Counties Championship hosted by Erewash, Derbyshire.

Abbie Gittings (Walmley GC) tied at the top of the leaderboard with Lincolnshire's Jessica Wilcox after 36 holes of qualifying in the English Girls Championships at Durham City this week.

Midland Schools Championships - Bloxwich Golf Club - Friday 30th May. Records were broken, handicaps came tumbling and at the end of the day, Warwickshire Girls brought home one trophy not won for a decade and another title your County Juniors have never held before - bring on the girls!
