Sunday 7 February 2010 saw 18 of the Warwickshire squad attending the first official training day of the season at Leamington & County Golf Club.
WARWICKSHIRE YOUNG MASTERS TOURNAMENT - ENTRY FORMS
In association with WUGC and WLCGA, the Young Masters Tournament will be held on 7th April 2010 at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club. The tournament is open to all young golfers (Boys & Girls) aged under 12 and players from all affiliated Golf Clubs and all County Driving Ranges are welcome. NEW COUNTY GIRLS CAPTAIN FOR 2010
Hannah McLoughlin, Sutton Coldfield Ladies has taken over from Alice Young, Kenilworth, as Captain of the County Girls for 2010. The badge was handed over at the recent end of year indoor skittles evening at Olton Golf Club.
FINAL of the STABLEFORD SERIES on 28th October 2009
The third and final round of the Stableford Series was played at Nuneaton GC on 28th October in warm sunshine and the scoring matched the weather.
Finals of Midlands South Girls Match-play Competition 2009
The finals of the Midlands South Girls Match-play competition were held at Temple GC, Berkshire on 4th October. The teams of 6 playing off scratch were Oxfordshire & Worcestershire/Herefordshire. The handicap teams of three were Oxfordshire & Warwickshire. We were treated to magnificent views in pleasant playing conditions with some exciting golf. Four of the scratch matches went to the 18th with Worcestershire & Herefordshire winning through.
