During the 2011 season, there will be 13 matches contested.These matches are arranged by Mave Mendus, Captain of the Warwickshire Veteran Ladies Golf Association, and a short review with results will be updated after each match to keep you informed.

Having been presented with her Vets Captain Retirement badge at the AGM in October, Mave Mendus was then asked by the committee at the first committee meeting if she would continue as Vets Captain for a further year. Fortunately for us, she agreed. Her Vice Captain is Liz Woolf from Ladbrook Park Golf Club. Pictured are Mave and Chris Lees, Vet's Chairman.

At the AGM held at Edgbaston Golf Club on Monday 12th October, the new Captain for the Vets, Mave Mendus from Walmley Golf Club, was introduced by Caroline Lassen. Pictured are Caroline, pinning the Captain's badge on to Mave's lapel.

Warwickshire, Worcestershire + Hereforedshire and Staffordshire play for a Trophy which was donated by our President, Sylvia Evans in 1999. This year Worcestershire & Herefordshire beat both Warwickshire & Staffordshire and thus won the Trophy. The Trophy was presented to Worcestershire's Captain, Geri Muir by Caroline Lassen, Warwickshire's Captain, at our match at Leamington and County Golf Club on 17th September 2009.
