2nds Midland League Match No 2 - 2002 |
| home against Shropshire & Herefordshire - Sunday 7th July 2002
2nd Team Captain John Crawford was able to pick a strong team for the visit of Shropshire & Herefordshire to Maxstoke, wanting a result which would give Warwickshire top place in the Midland 2nds Team League. He was slightly surprised by the lunchtime score of 3-3 but said after the match, I was impressed with the Shropshire & Herefordshire Team after the morning s play - they came with a good team. The singles were going to be difficult.
